On September 30 Microsoft has launched new version of operation system, which will replace the OS 8.1. Trial version of Windows Technical Preview OS 10 is already available for downloading. However, full version of new OS is expected to be in 2015.
New OS will be abailable for several devices: computers, tablets, smartphones, TV’s, Xvox and even for high-performance servers installed in the data-centers. For the OS use in mobile devices it will be automatically adapted for the use without the mouse and keyboard.
Interface of Windows OS 10 did not change much, but useful features were added. “Start” button is returned on the taskbar with the option to shut down the computer. When pressing the Task View button on the taskbar, all running applications are displayed on the main screen in reduced size. Search function located on the taskbar now is searching for the information not only available on the computer, but also in the internet space. Live Tiles mode helps to see on the main screen such important information as temperature and weather forecast. Snap function is improved and now is working with several applications. It is possible now to open on the screen four applications simultaneously. Moreover, the system itself will help you to use the screen space efficiently.
Windows 10 OS also allows to create several virtual desktops, switch between them and open the application in the desired desktop. According to Microsoft official message, new Windows OS is designed mainly for business-applications, but will also be successfully working on personal devices.
