Like it or not “Dislike” is on its way

Wouldn’t it be humiliating to have a couple of “Dislikes” in your post. Facebook doesn’t seem to care anyways. They have decided on implementing the Dislike button. Maybe it is just like the buy button, which they promised earlier this year and still is not available.

Anyways, if the Dislike button is to happen, it is time for companies to brace themselves and save their hard earned reputation. The posts need not be of less importance or any annoying for the competitors to hit the Dislike button. Seems like soon Facebook will be a cold war field, where the companies will have people paid to sit and dislike their competitor posts. The Dislike button will be misused more than used.

Mark Zuckerberg said that Facebook is testing surrogates to the “Like” button. He is also reported to have said that people have been asking for the dislike button for many years. So, finally they have started their work on it. Mr Zuckerberg is not sure about the Dislike button being called “ Dislike”. According to him it is not intended to disrespect any post as such, but to just empathize those that are not appropriate to like. Like near ones dying or a natural calamity that has occurred. Really? Why all these extra effort? If people don’t find it appropriate to like a post they have a third and easy option that is “ Simply don’t click anything”. I believe they are smart enough to do that.

The Dislike button was on the news for quite sometime last year and it was only called off last December. Not sure about the Dislike button or Buy button for that matter, but Facebook seems to be very interested being on the news all the time. Like always the release date of this button is not made official. Let us hope it is far away from here.
