In addition to Gmail Google presented new mail application Inbox which was created to work with large array of e-mails.
Inbox considers all e-mails as a task list. All e-mails require taking some actions, therefore there are no Read e-mails but e-mails can be marked as Executed. After marking an e-mail as Executed it moves from Inbox folder to Executed folder which plays the same role as Archive folder in Gmail.
All incoming e-mails are sorted by folders Finance, Updates, Social, Purchases etc. and are grouped by dates inside each folder. New mail application has useful function which reminds about an e-mail. It postpones e-mails till chosen date, time or destination. When user reaches this place of destination Inbox reminds about the e-mail. E-mails can be marked by tag and you can add small remark to them. Another useful tool is creation of single or regular reminders.
New e-mails can be created by pressing red round button located in the bottom right corner. Dialog window will contain several last contacts and button for adding reminder.
Design of Inbox is simple and intuitive. Mobile application has the same functionality.
